Big Off-Road Gathering in Karabük

The excitement in trial, a discipline that puts cooperation and the off-road spirit first, and in which teams made up of 2 vehicles and 4 competitors fight to complete the course in the shortest possible time, is moving to Karabük this time. Round 5 of the 2016 Turkish Trial Championship will be held in Karabük on 1-2 October, organised by the Karabük Off-road Club, known by its abbreviation KARDOFF, with the support of Safranbolu Municipality.

The event will be run on a specially prepared course behind the KYK dormitory construction site at the Safranbolu Kastamonu Junction. It will start at 11.00 on Saturday 1 October and continue until 17.00 on the first day. On the second day of the teams' colourful battle, Sunday 15 November, running will again start at 11.00 and finish at 17.00, with the event concluding with the prize-giving ceremony at 18.00.

Speaking about the event, KARDOFF Club President Ahmet Demir said: "Competitors from every corner of Turkey will come to our event, and it will be a contest with great spectator appeal. With the Turkish Championship approaching its closing stages, the teams need every point they can pick up here. We also expect the public to come along to the races this weekend. As always, Safranbolu Municipality is giving great support to these events too."
