İzmir Autocross Cup Heads to Final Round

The final round of the 2016 İzmir Autocross Cup will be organised by the Aydın Otomobil Sporları Kulübü on Sunday 9 October at the Ege Asal Motor Spor autocross track in Menderes-Kısıkköy. Over five laps of the 800-metre autocross track, cars will be classified in three separate categories according to engine capacity and modifications.

The third İzmir Autocross round will begin with scrutineering at 10:30, followed by practice laps between 12:00 and 13:15. The final autocross race of the season in the İzmir Cup will run over five laps between 14:00 and 15:30, and the event will close with a prize-giving ceremony at 16:15. With the completion of the final race, the category winners of the 2016 İzmir Cup will also be decided.

AYOSK President Kuvvet Erim said: "The final of the Cup will play host to an exciting and hard-fought contest. I invite everyone who loves motorsport to come and watch our final race and share in the competitors' superb battle." Ahead of the final race on Sunday 9 October, the Cup leaders are Bedri Kolsallayan in Category 1, Bahadır Sevinç in Category 2, Tibet Arbak in Category 3 and Gizem Görgün Başar in the Women's classification.
