Round two of the AVIS 2026 Turkish Circuit Racing Championship was held at TOSFED Istanbul Park, with the support of AVIS, Spor Toto, Tuzla Belediyesi, Salados and Power App.

A total of 23 cars contested the Maxi and Super classes over the weekend. Rain on the first day made official practice and qualifying difficult for the drivers, before the two races run in sunshine on Sunday produced intense battles.

In the first Maxi race, Galip Atar, racing for Sesa European GT Team, took the win, with Seda Kaçan Bakan of Texaco Team AMS second and team-mate Berk Kalpaklıoğlu third.

A crash on the opening lap of the second race put four drivers out and the race was restarted. Race one winner Galip Atar's car was damaged in contact and suffered a puncture, forcing him out, and after 12 laps it was Texaco Team AMS drivers who filled the podium. Seda Kaçan Bakan took the win, with Umut Göktaş second and Berk Kalpaklıoğlu third, all collecting trophies.

In the Super class, the fight for the lead between the Hyundai i20 Ns produced thrilling racing. Orçun İnce won both races, with Team ADD driver Murat Gürakan second on each occasion. İbrahim Özbıyık finished third in the first race, while Recep Çelikkanat took the final podium place in the second. The races were followed with great interest and excitement by a large crowd, and Texaco Team AMS won the teams' classification.

The circuit racing season will continue with round three, again at TOSFED Istanbul Park, on 15-16 August.
