Grit Wins İSOFF Challenge Cup

İstanbul Offroad Kulübü (İSOFF) brought its 2016 season to a close with the fifth and final round of the İSOFF Challenge, held on Sunday 18 December at the Kemerburgaz off-road course.

The race was won by the DeToro crew of Tarık Gökbay-Selçuk Dayangaç, while another DeToro crew, Kubilay Tüfekçi – Bülent Gültekin, finished second and Tuncay Akbulut-Uğur Tepe took third in a Jeep Cherokee. The class wins went to Murat Öztiryaki-Muhammed Ali Baydar in a Suzuki Vitara in Class 1, Hürriyet Grit – Selçuk Sarı in a Suzuki Grand Vitara in Class 2, Tuncay Akbulut-Uğur Tepe in a Jeep Cherokee in Class 3 and Tarık Gökbay-Selçuk Dayangaç in a DeToro in Class 4.

The winner of the five-round cup was Hürriyet Grit, who competed in a Suzuki Grand Vitara and scored 67 points. İlyas Tahincioğlu finished second in the cup with 48 points, with Tuncay Akbulut third on the same tally.
