Final Time at the Ankara Cup

Rounds 2 and 3 of the 2016 Ankara Off-road Cup will be held on 24-25 December on the course in the village of Mühye, in Ankara's Çankaya district.

The races, which consist of four passes through a 6km obstacle course visible to spectators, will take place on a punishing track featuring water, mud and snow hazards. Round 2 of the cup will be run on Saturday 24 December, with Round 3 following on Sunday 25 December. The expected snowfall will make the course even tougher, and the racing is set to be fiercely contested, with the start given at 11.30 on both days.

With competitors travelling from other provinces to take part, the crews will battle it out in difficult terrain, while motorsport fans will be able to follow the action from the spectator areas.

Ankara Off-road Club President Şahin Demiray shared his thoughts ahead of the season finale: "In the 2016 season we have left behind, we shared excitement, friendship, sportsmanship and togetherness with the people of Ankara in closely fought and gentlemanly races. We look forward to welcoming Ankara's motorsport fans to Mühye for this event too. Let's see out 2016 together with this event."
