Strong Turnout for Off-road in İnegöl

Round 4 of the Turkish Off-road Championship, organised by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation, was held by Bursa Alternatif Sporlar Kulübü (BASK) on 5-6 September at Alanyurt in the İnegöl district of Bursa.

Organised with the support of İnegöl Municipality and sponsored by ISUZU as part of the 93rd anniversary of İnegöl's liberation from enemy occupation, the event was followed with great enthusiasm by many motorsport fans.

At the end of the two-day event, which nine crews were able to complete, Ahmet Ünlü-Ayhan Yıldırım took the overall win in a Nissan Terrano 3300, with Kadir Küçükaydın-Arda Aslan second in a Mitsubishi L200 and Bülent Cevdet Durdu-Barış Güner third in a Mitsubishi Pajero.

The class winners were Mustafa Akın-Tayfun Tiryaki in Class 1 (Suzuki Grand Vitara), Onur Alptekin-Tamer Akdağ in Class 2 (Suzuki Vitara 2000), Ahmet Ünlü-Ayhan Yıldırım in Class 3 (Nissan Terrano 3300) and Hüsnü Taylan-Hasan Taylan in Class 4 (Jeep Cherokee).
