GEM Drivers Take Podium at Misano

The 3H Endurance Champions Cup round at Misano in Italy was held on the night of Saturday 15 July. On the 4.226-metre circuit, where 12 teams and 35 drivers competed, Turkey was represented by Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport (BOM), with national drivers Aytaç Biter, Levent Kocabıyık and Fatih Ayhan, and by Gedik Ebam Motorsport (GEM), with Ahmet Mutlubaş, Ayhan Germirli and Yağız Gedik behind the wheel. The BOM team, which had collected important points with second places in the season's first two races at Mugello and Brno, was unlucky at Misano. Running third overall and leading its class, the crew went off the road and retired.
Gedik Ebam Motorsport, meanwhile, with Ahmet Mutlubaş, Ayhan Germirli and Yağız Gedik, finished second in its class to take a podium.
