Ford Stages Digital 19 May Race

Ford, which has long backed the Castrol Ford Team Türkiye rally team and has taken many successes with it including a European Championship title, has announced a special event designed to satisfy motorsport fans of all ages who are missing racing. Held entirely in a virtual environment on 19 May, the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, the "19 May Youth and Sports Race" will be Turkey's highest-quality digital motorsport live broadcast.

The Ford "19 May Youth and Sports Race" will have viewers glued to their screens thanks to the superb commentary of Serhan Acar, who has been covering Formula 1 races in Turkey since 2005 and is known as "the Voice of Formula 1".

The race will take place on the iRacing platform, home to sim racing games that can simulate the real-life driving experience almost one-to-one, and will start as a rallycross-style event in Ford Fiestas. In the race, Castrol Ford Team Türkiye's rally drivers Murat Bostancı, Ali Türkkan, Ümit Can Özdemir, Emre Hasbay and Can Sarıhan will take on esports players Mervan Tepelioğlu, Buğra Akpınar, Atakan Tarkan, Ozan Ülkügil and Emir Aşarı.
