A New Era at EOSK

The Aegean Automobile Sports Club (EOSK) held its ordinary general assembly on Saturday 13 December 2014 at the club headquarters in Izmir. A total of 37 members attended the assembly, where the board elections were also held.

President Mustafa Şairoğlu, who has held the post since 2006, had announced that he would hand over the role to younger members. Ömer Yüce, who has held a number of positions at the club over many years and also served on Şairoğlu's last board, said he was open to taking on the presidency and that they could continue running the club with a young team.

Following the vote, with the support of all 37 members, the new board under President Ömer Yüce officially took over. The new board consists of the following: President Ömer Yüce, Vice President Irmak Altınsoy, and members A.Çağlar Kip, Özer Yüce and E.Can Tolun...

Yüce said they were setting out with Mustafa Şairoğlu's moral support and that work had already begun on the events they will organise in 2015. He noted that he has held many roles within the club to date and that 2015 marks a new beginning for him in motorsport. On behalf of the Aegean Automobile Sports Club, Yüce wished all clubs, competitors, senior officials and marshals a great 2015 season.
