EOSK Prize-Winning Rally Cup Gets Under Way

The second series of the EOSK E-Rally Cup, launched during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic under the slogans #HayatEveSığar #RalliEveSığar, began on Thursday 7 May, open to all gaming platforms.

Organised by the Ege Otomobil Sporları Kulübü (EOSK), the event has 212 entrants in total, 132 in the R5 category and 80 in R2. The cup, which will be contested over 10 rallies, 80 special stages and 558.40 km, will end after 23 days of competition at 18:00 on Saturday 30 May 2020.
Burak Çukurova, Vedat Bostancı, Orhan Avcıoğlu, Burçin Korkmaz, Levent Ceylan, Burak Ertem, Onat Telkenar, Göksun Erkek, Tigin Kişmir, Koray Özkaplan, Metin Türkcan, Yiğit Top, Fatih Yalçınkaya and Harun Özdemir are among the well-known names from the rally world adding to the excitement of the 2nd ESOK E-Rally Cup with their participation.

Besides the overall classification, the R5 and R2 categories will be scored and rewarded separately, and a separate team classification will also be run. A separate classification will also be run for the Women's category, which is being introduced for the first time and features four entrants.

Over the 23-day event, the entrant who follows every rally using a steering wheel, finishes first in the overall classification, holds a driving licence and has never held a TOSFED licence will be given a competition car, with the make and model to be determined by RallyAbroad Garage, to use on the first Aegean Rally that EOSK will organise, courtesy of RallyAbroad.
