TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı said the federation was excited that the World Rallycross Championship, for which it has also secured a deal for the 2025-2026 seasons, is returning to Türkiye. "Very shortly after opening our country's largest sports facility to Turkish motorsport, we are delighted to bring one of the world's most important racing series to our country. For a long time we have been saying that, if the circuit were reopened, we would bring many international racing series to Türkiye, benefiting both sports tourism and the promotion of our country. In this context, we are proud to have brought a World Championship event back to our country so soon after our first event at the circuit in the new era," he said, adding that the team had worked tirelessly to rebuild the seriously damaged track.
