Off-Road Spectacle in Denizli

The second round of the PETLAS 2023 Turkish Off-road Championship, organised by Denizli Offroad Spor Kulübü (DENDOFF), was held on 22-23 July in Denizli's Merkezefendi district. At the event, which took place with the support of ICRYPEX and Merkezefendi Municipality, crews competed in the Kenan Çarpışantürk endurance stage on the first day and the Kazım Arslan spectator special stage on the second. The race, which saw a fierce fight right up to the final stage, was won by İsmail Ayhan-Arda Arslan in a Caze Nissan, while Bekir Başkal-Hande Erdoğan took second in a Mitsubishi L200 and Giusva Agazzi-Uğur Gümüş finished third in a Toyota Hilux. Başkal-Erdoğan also won Class 4, while Ergün Çirkin-Safiye Kurşun in Class 3 and Bora Köse-Furkan Akalın in Class 2 were the crews to take the other class wins. The teams' victory went to ANDOFF Offroad Team. The PETLAS 2023 Turkish Off-road Championship will continue with the third round, organised by Samsun Otomobil Spor Kulübü, on 26-27 August.
