Karting Round Three Held at Körfez

The third round of the MOTUL 2023 Turkish Karting Championship was held on 22-23 July at the TOSFED Körfez Racing Circuit. Organised by the Kocaeli Karting and Motorsport Club (KO-KART) with the support of ICRYPEX and Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, the event saw 63 competitors battle it out in the micro, mini, junior, senior and master categories. Across a weekend featuring three races on each of the two days, Doruk Sırnaç won the micro category, with Guido Ebergenyi second and Osman Selim Köse third, while in mini Can Özler took the win, Rüzgar Evci finished second and Ali Fuat Miras third. In the junior category Yağız Tekşan was the winner, with Zekai Hakkı Dorum second and Leyla Sulyak third completing the podium, while in senior Kerim Sulyak won, Gün Taşdelen was second and Berkay Besler third. The top three in the master category were Murathan Gür, Mehmet Çınar and İlyas Vurgeç. Among the women, Leyla Sulyak won the junior category, with Ayşe Çebi second and Nisan Kalkavan third on the podium, while in the senior women's class Sena Savaşer was first and Zeynep Çukurova second. Dynamic Racing Team took the teams' victory. After the racing, the leading competitors received their awards at a ceremony attended by TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı, Motul Marketing Director Özge Bodur and Motul Regional Manager Murat Balatacıoğlu.
