A new board has been elected at the Bursa Automobile Sports Club (BOSSEK), Turkey's oldest motorsport club, which was founded on 10 September 1972 under the presidency of Orhan Akiş and has been active without interruption for 45 years. Mete Pala Takes Over at BOSSEKFollowing the club's Ordinary General Assembly, Mete Pala, who served as TOSFED Bursa Provincial Representative in 2017, took over as president. Serdar Canbek, Hasan Akbaş, Suat Şarlı, Zafer Vatansever, Yalçın Yılmaz, Gökhan Tekmen, Kenan Seferler and previous-term president Atilla Beyhan make up the rest of the board. Ahmet Haldun İnak was elected chairman of the Audit Committee, while Koral Yeşildağ and Levent Zaim joined as committee members.
Mete Pala Takes Over at BOSSEKThe club, which has successfully organised numerous national and local events in autocross, hill climb, circuit racing, karting and rally to date, will run the Yeşil Bursa Rally and Orhangazi Hill Climb national events in the new season, as well as local autocross races. The board also aims to repeat events open to all licence holders, such as slalom and photo rallies, as in previous years, and, with the club strengthened further by the arrival of new members, will carry out work aimed at increasing the number of competitors.
