Batı Faces First Test in Porsche Carrera Cup Italia

Batı Yıldırım, the 16-year-old national driver who has won countless titles at home and abroad in karting since 2016, will compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia for Omnia Racing in 2025.

The youngest driver in the series, who has also been accepted into the Porsche Junior Academy, will make his first start in the championship this weekend, following an official practice day at the legendary Monza circuit. Aiming to gain experience in his first races, the young driver will take the wheel in his first test since moving from karting to cars, in the night race on Saturday 3 May at 21:10 and in the second race on Sunday 4 May at 13:30.

The Porsche Carrera Cup Italia, which consists of six rounds and 12 races, will continue at Vallelunga, Mugello, Imola, Misano and Monza following the opening round at Misano.
