Ayhancan Preparing for Magny-Cours

Last week, national driver Ayhancan Güven, who signed with Attempto Racing for the remaining races of the season, was at Germany's Oschersleben circuit on 19-20 August for the first test with the new team.

At the circuit for training purposes, Ayhancan competed as the second driver in the Porsche Sports Cup endurance race on the team's decision, and drew attention by taking third in qualifying among experienced rivals. The young driver spent a total of 60 minutes at the wheel during the 100-minute race and set the second-fastest lap time. Having adapted to the new team and car very quickly, Ayhancan signalled that the team is ready for the Porsche Carrera Cup challenge.
Supported by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation TOSFED as a national team driver and racing with the backing of SporToto, Mevsim Baharat, FluxPort and Long Gayrimenkul, Ayhancan is targeting the podium in Round 4 of the Porsche Carrera Cup France, to be held at Magny-Cours on 9-10 September.

Ahead of this race, Ayhancan will travel to a camp in Méribel, France on 29-31 August, to which Porsche Cup has invited its young and talented drivers. Porsche France will assess the physical and mental tests at the three-day camp, along with the drivers' race performances during the year, and will support the drivers it selects next season under its junior programme…
