Ayhancan Güven Battles at Magny-Cours
Our national driver Ayhancan Güven was at Magny-Cours on 9-10 September for round four of the Porsche Carrera Cup France. Competing with TOSFED and SporToto as title sponsors, Ayhancan took to the track in a Turkish flag-liveried car prepared by Attempto Racing.
In qualifying on Saturday 9 September, Güven lined up fifth on the grid for the opening race, which he finished fourth after a hard-fought battle among tough rivals. On Sunday 10 September, the young driver started the weekend's second race from seventh and came home fifth. 
Both races were closely fought from start to finish and were broadcast live on the Porsche Carrera Cup France social media channels, with a large number of Turkish followers sending Ayhancan their support.
Ayhancan's next race will be round five of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux at Zolder in Belgium on 15-17 September, which will run alongside the European Touring Car Championship and the European Truck Racing Championship.
