Atar Gets Behind the Wheel at Monza

Turkish driver Galip Atar is among the 43 competitors who will take part in the opening race of the Ferrari Challenge Europe at the famous Formula 1 circuit of Monza.
Atar, who is racing for the Swiss team Octane 126 alongside last year's champion Bjorn Grossman, drove the new car for the first time in today's test. Atar was trying to get used to the car at Monza, a track the driver was visiting for the first time, in a test run in the rain, with Ferrari Challenge champion Max Blancardi in the passenger seat.
With a number of champion drivers on the entry list, the first race of the season will get under way after qualifying on the morning of Saturday 2 April.
