Atar Heads to Spain for Ferrari Challenge Europe Opener

National driver Galip Atar will take the first start of the 2017 Ferrari Challenge Europe season in a Ferrari 458 Challenge EVO at the Valencia circuit in Spain on 19-21 May. Racing with world and European championship-winning team Octane 126, Atar's target this season is to finish the Ferrari Challenge Europe series as champion.

Last year, Atar caught the eye with a strong performance at Monza and Hockenheim, rounds contested to get used to the new car and the championship. The series, which attracts many successful drivers from around the world, consists of seven races in five different countries. At races held on legendary Formula 1 circuits such as Monza, Silverstone and Budapest, the equally matched cars will provide fierce competition.Having represented Turkey successfully on the international stage in recent seasons, the Ülkü Motorsport driver aims to bring the Ferrari Challenge Europe title to Turkey in the new season and fly the Turkish flag on the top step of the podium.
