Aşarı Wins Nürburgring 24 Hours

Emir Aşarı, making his fifth start in the Nürburgring 24 Hours, one of the most important endurance races of the season, finally achieved his goal. After winning his class in the 2022 Nürburgring Endurance Series, Aşarı's aim this time was to finish the gruelling, non-stop 24-hour race in first place in his class. Emir Aşarı and his team-mates celebrated that achievement with justified joy over the weekend.
Sharing the driving duties of the VW Golf TCR in the SP3T class of the ADAC Nürburgring 24 Hours with Benjamin Cartery, Max Partl and Matthias Wasel, Emir Aşarı was the first to see the chequered flag, taking the most important result of his career.
Racing for Max Kruse Racing with the support of Tezmaksan and Crawler, Aşarı earned praise in a race that started with 131 cars and which only 88 crews managed to finish, particularly for a strong performance behind the wheel during the night hours.Our national drivers Ayhancan Güven and Mustafa Mehmet Kaya were unable to finish the race, Güven during the race itself and Kaya during the warm-up laps, both because of contact and accidents.
