Rain Tests Crews at Ardeşen Off-road

The second round of the 2017 Turkish Off-road Championship was held in Rize on 20-21 May, organised by Ardeşen Offroad Kulübü (ARDOFF) with the support of Çaykur and Spor Toto.The event, run in front of big crowds of local fans, proved very demanding for the competing crews, as heavy rain made the course increasingly difficult.
The two-day battle ended with victory for the Nissan Pathfinder crew of Gökhan İçen-Arda Aslan, while Mustafa Saray-Samet Zurnacı finished second in their Jeep Cherokee. Cemal-Cemil Akagündüz took third overall in an Opel Frontera, and 54 REDLINE TEAM won the teams' classification.The Class 1 winners were Ömer Kundakçı-Servet Gül, with Nihat Keskin-Yasemin Biber Toker winning Class 2, Gökhan İçen-Arda Aslan taking Class 3 and Mustafa Saray-Samet Zurnacı winning Class 4.
The next round of the 2017 Turkish Off-road Championship will be organised by 54 Otomobil Sporları Kulübü in Sakarya on 8-9 July.​
