Ali Türkkan Joins the Red Bull Family

Ali Türkkan, one of Turkey's young rally talents, has joined the Red Bull family. The 21-year-old Castrol Ford Team Türkiye driver, who has been behind the wheel since the age of six, will now compete as a Red Bull athlete.
After a successful 2016 in the Prokart Endurance Cup, Türkkan went on to become both Turkish Circuit Racing Super Group Champion and V1 Challenge winner in 2017.
Still only 18 when he reached the final of the Champion of Champions in 2018, the Red Bull athlete took victory in the young drivers' standings and third place overall at the 2019 Yeşil Bursa Rally.

Since 2019, Türkkan has continued working under the mentorship of Red Bull athlete Yağız Avcı, a five-time Turkish Rally Champion, and that same year claimed three Young Drivers wins in the Turkish Rally Championship.
Most recently, Türkkan won the 2020 Turkish Digital Rally Championship, held for the first time this year by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation under the Red Bull Gaming Ground banner.

Speaking after joining the Red Bull family, Türkkan said that becoming part of it was an incredible source of motivation: "For me, being a Red Bull athlete means being the best at what you do. I'm aware that all the champion rally drivers are Red Bull athletes. Being part of this family is both a reference with no equal on the international stage and, in terms of motivation, a sign that I won't be alone."
