Hello to a Summer Full of Adrenalin

The Warmhaus Summer Cup said a hot and exciting hello to summer with its first round, held at the İzmir Ülkü Park circuit with 11 drivers taking part.
In the opening race of the cup, in which Diesel and Super cars started together, Yağız Gedik started from pole position, held the lead throughout the race and took the chequered flag first. Second place in the Super class went to Çağlayan Çelik, whose Warmhaus brand sponsors the cup. Hüseyin Yıldırım finished behind Çağlayan Çelik in his Honda Civic Type-R to take the final podium place. Another Type-R driver in the Super class, Metin Çalışkan, failed to complete the race after a broken clutch centre on lap 7, while Hakan Mete Kutay was unable to start the race because of a mechanical failure during qualifying.
In the first Diesel class race, 7 drivers took to the track in VW Polo TDi race cars. In a class that featured many new names alongside experienced drivers, Ozan Süzgün took the win, with Osman Demirel second and Yunus Emre Küçükbekir third.
The adrenalin was at its peak in the day's second races. With the reverse grid format, the cars battled bumper to bumper. In the Super class, the top two held their positions. Yağız Gedik, racing for Gedik Piliç-EBAM, did not step down from the top step of the podium, while Çağlayan Çelik once again took second. Metin Çalışkan, who had suffered a mechanical failure in the first race, managed to reach the podium in the second and took home the third-place cup.
In the second Diesel class race, Osman Demirel was the first driver across the line and lifted the winner's cup. Ozan Süzgün took second on the podium and went home with 2 cups. Yunus Emre Küçükbekir held on to third place and was another driver to head home with two cups.
The exciting journey in the Warmhaus Summer Cup will continue with Round 2 on Sunday 16 July 2017...
Drivers Warm Up Ahead of V1 Challenge!
After the Warmhaus Summer Cup, the adrenalin on the track continued non-stop... In the single-round Volkicar race, seen as the final rehearsal before the V1 Challenge 2017, drivers fought fiercely bumper to bumper. In a breathtaking race, experienced V1 Challenge drivers were joined on the grid by experienced drivers who competed in the V2 Challenge last season.
Emir Ay won the first race of this final rehearsal for the V2 Challenge, with experienced driver Adem Çetmen following in second. Murat Aksüt, another experienced V1 Challenge driver, took the chequered flag in third. In the second race of the fierce battle, the name at the top of the podium again did not change. Emir Ay completed the double and took 2 cups home. The other podium positions changed, however. This time Çağlayan Çelik lifted the second-place cup, while Hüseyin Çetmen took third.
While registration continues for the eagerly awaited V1 Challenge 2017, Ülkü Park management announced that the race calendar will be published in the near future.
