Three-in-One Autocross Delivers Thrills

The 2021 Bursa Autocross Cup, organised by the Bursa Automobile Sports Club, known as BOSSEK, with the support of Orhangazi Municipality, was held on Sunday 22 August 2021. Across three separate races on the autocross track beside Lake Iznik, 22 competitors from Bursa, Istanbul, Eskişehir, Ankara and Antalya battled it out. In Category 1, İsmail Hakkı Aktaş won the first race in a Citroen Saxo, with Ali İşeri taking the second and third in a Renault Clio. In Category 2, Burak Başlık won the first two races in a Ford Fiesta R2 for BC Vision Motorsport, while Serhan Türkkan took the third in a Ford Fiesta R2 for Castrol Ford Team Türkiye. In Category 3, Yiğit Yalçın won the first and third races in an Opel Astra, with Emir Zümrüt winning the second in a Renault Clio Sport. In Category 4, Gürol Baranlı won all three races in a Subaru Impreza. The 2021 Turkish Rallycross Championship Final, organised by TOSFED, will take place on 11-12 December at the TOSFED Körfez Race Track, once the regional qualifying rounds have been completed.
