WRC Rally Türkiye Schedule Announced
The programme and route details for the fifth round of the 2020 FIA World Rally Championship, Rally Türkiye, which will be held on 18-20 September under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and organised by the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED), were announced in Rally Guide-1, published on the event's official website on 13 August.
The rally begins on Friday 18 September with the shakedown at Değirmenyani / İçmeler between 09:00 and 13:00, and the start ceremony will take place in front of Marmaris Yacht Marina at 16:20. After tackling the İçmeler (13.90 km) and Gökçe (11.32 km) stages, crews will enter the service park at Asparan from 19:40 to end the first day in parc fermé.
On Saturday 19 September, crews leave the service area from 08:00 and run through Yeşilbelde (31.79 km), Datça (8.75 km) and Kızlan (13.15 km), reaching the service area from 12:15. After running the same stages once more, day two of the rally will end at the service park from 18:15.
On the final day, Sunday 20 September, crews get behind the wheel at 06:30 and run the Çetibeli (38.15 km) and Marmaris (7.05 km) stages twice each, before completing the demanding challenge on the finish podium at the Asparan service park at 14:15.
Both passes of the İçmeler stage on the first day, the Datça stage on the second day and the Marmaris stage on the third day will be broadcast live by WRC TV, and will be carried to screens worldwide by 154 TV channels, including TRTSPOR.
