VEZİROFF Delivers Superb Organisation

Round 3 of the Turkish Off-road Championship, held on 30 June-1 July in Samsun's Vezirköprü district, passed off with a successful organisation by Vezirköprü Offroad Club, known by its short name VEZİROFF.
The event was started by Samsun Governor Osman Kaymak, with 26 vehicles and 56 competitors battling across four classes. The breathtaking stages gave spectators plenty to enjoy, and both the high entry and the strong interest in the racing were evident.
Bülent Cevdet Durdu-Aydemir Uzun, driving a Jeep Wrangler for Adapazarı Belediyesi Offroad Team, won overall and took the Class 4 victory. Hüseyin Memi-M. Ali Yılmazer, in a Jeep Wrangler for Sapanca Belediyesi Offroad Team, finished second overall and won Class 3, while İsmail Ayhan-Ali Pertev, in a Mitsubishi L200 for Crazy Bulls Offroad Team, completed the overall podium in third.
The Class 1 win went to İlayda Hancı-Batuhan Korkut in a Suzuki Vitara for Bantboru Offroad Team, and Class 2 was won by Nihat Keskin-Yasemin Biber Toker, who competed as privateers in a Suzuki Samurai. In the teams classification, Adapazarı Belediyesi Offroad Team took first place, with Sapanca Belediyesi Offroad Team second and EVL Garage Offroad Team third.

At the prize-giving ceremony held at the Vezirköprü Municipality Cultural Centre, Vezirköprü District Governor Yunus Emre Altıner and Vezirköprü Mayor İbrahim Sadık Edis thanked the people and organisations who had contributed to the championship in their speeches and presented them with plaques. At the ceremony, which was also attended by Colonel Mehmet Arı, Deputy Provincial Gendarmerie Commander, the trophies were presented to the leading competitors by the officials.
