Vedat Diker Heads to Jordan Rally

The next round of the Middle East Rally Championship, the Jordan Rally, is being held from 5-7 May. Vedat Diker and Erdal Oral, who represent Turkey in the championship, will compete in the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X for Toksport WRT in a rally featuring drivers from 11 different countries.

The event begins with a ceremonial start on Thursday 5 May, and the opening day will feature the Abdali Spectator Stage. The Jordan Rally covers 640 kilometres of gravel roads and includes 19 special stages totalling 222 kilometres.

The experienced crew of Vedat Diker and Erdal Oral will compete in the Group N class in Toksport WRT's Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. A multiple Turkish champion, Vedat Diker has adapted to the demanding and distinctive Middle Eastern stages over the first two events and is targeting a place near the top in the Jordan Rally.
