Trial Action Heads to Düzce Kaynaşlı

The third round of the 2017 Turkish Trial Championship, organised by the Düzce Off-road and Motorsports Association (DOSOD), will be held at the Kaynaşlı motorsport complex on 15-16 July 2017.DOSOD President İsmail Aydın said in a statement ahead of the event that, so that the treacherous coup attempt of 15 July is not forgotten, they have given this year's event names linked to 15 July. Aydın said: "Last season our event was due to take place on these dates, but it could not be held because of the unwanted events caused by that treacherous coup attempt. This year, on the same dates, we are running our event in support of democracy, with stages named after Fethi Sekin and Ömer Halis Demir. We invite all off-road fans and the people of Düzce to our event in Kaynaşlı."
Clerk of the Course Gürbüz Özkurt added: "We will start the third round of the Turkish Trial Championship at 12.00 on Saturday 15 July. In line with the trial format, we will start two vehicles at once for each team. The teams, made up of four competitors and two vehicles, will help one another through the difficult obstacles as they try to reach the finish. On both days our stages are 750 metres long and consist of 10 gates, and the teams must reach the finish point within 30 minutes. Spectators who come to watch the event at the weekend can look forward to fierce competition and plenty of adrenaline."
