Toktaş Takes Podium at Acropolis Rally

The Acropolis Rally, one of the most historic events on the European Rally Championship calendar, was held in Lamia, Greece. In tough gravel conditions, the crews tackled 12 gravel special stages covering 229.8 kilometres, in an event totalling 686.3km, as they battled for the lead.Making their first European Championship appearance, İsmet Toktaş and Sedat Bostancı brought their Ford Fiesta R2T to the finish of the demanding rally to take third place in ERC3 and climb onto the podium.
Speaking after the rally, Toktaş said: "On our first European Championship outing, we worked hard to bring our car to the finish on the long, punishing gravel stages and to stay in the fight. Guided by the experience of Castrol Ford Team Türkiye throughout the rally, we put in a huge effort to keep our concentration and fitness at the highest level, and we are delighted to have reached a finish that many crews did not, in third place in ERC3."
