Hill Climb Finale Heads to New Kartepe Course

The Derbent Hill Climb, organised by the Kocaeli Automobile Sports Club (KOSDER) with the support of Kartepe Municipality, will take place on 5-6 November 2016. The seventh and final round of the 2016 Turkish Hill Climb Championship will start in front of the Bayraktepe Restaurant on the new asphalt road climbing to Kartepe, opposite the Kartepe Derbent Gendarmerie Station, and finish after 6 km on the old Kartepe road.

The event begins on Saturday 5 November 2016 with administrative and technical checks between 14:00 and 17:00, and continues on Sunday 6 November with two practice runs between 09:30 and 11:00. On the asphalt course, which will host a race for the first time, the event will be run over three runs, with the first starting at 13:00, the second at 14:30 and the third at 15:30.

The apexmasters drivers who compete in the Turkish Drifting Championship will take part for the first time, starting first before each run. The event will conclude with a prize-giving ceremony at the Çamçeşme Restaurant facilities at 18:30 the same evening.
