Drift Drivers at OTEK 2016
The Apex Masters team was among this year's participants at the Automotive Technologies event organised by Yıldız Technical University. Several drift cars were on display in the exhibition area, giving students and academic staff the chance to take a close look at them. As the students talked about the car projects they had built themselves, there was plenty of exchange of knowledge with the drivers.
On the second day of the event, the Apex Masters team took part in a conference. Topics ranged from races and practice sessions to drifting tuition and special events. The students then began firing questions at the team, but the well-prepared AMS crew answered every one in detail. After an entertaining conference full of jokes and laughter, the OTEK team presented the AMS drivers and management with a sapling to plant, marking the day. Following the event, the students were invited to races and practice sessions.
The Apex Masters team left the event very happy and said they would be glad to take part in similar conferences and events at other universities.
