Drift Fever Hits Tekirdağ

The "Tekirdağ Drift Fest", organised by Drift Kulübü and Süleymanpaşa Municipality, took place with great enthusiasm on Sunday 12 October at the Tekirdağ seafront reclamation area.

Thousands of locals and visitors from neighbouring provinces enjoyed the event, which ran for around seven hours, and an unforgettable day was had thanks to the drivers' outstanding performances.

The drift team made up of Abbas Çimen, Timur Pomak, Kemal Güvenkaya and Volkan Arısoy captivated the spectators with a superb display, while Doğukan Manço also joined the event and earned applause from the crowd with his show.

Süleymanpaşa Mayor Ekrem Eşkinat also shared in the drift excitement as a co-driver, while many photographers and members of the press took their places at the venue.

At the show, held with the sponsorship of Esse Grub, the Nissan GTR33 safety car, brought in from abroad and the only one of its kind in Türkiye, also drew great interest.
