Turkish Crews Top the Podium in Sliven

The Sliven Rally, a round of the 2015 European Rally Cup, was held in Bulgaria on 4-6 September. Three crews from Turkey started the event and all returned home with major achievements.

Murat Bostancı-Onur Vatansever, the Turkish Rally Champions for the last two seasons, who are following the European Rally Cup this year for Castrol Ford Team Türkiye, finished this rally in first place as well and extended their lead in the cup. Yağız Avcı-Bahadır Gücenmez, competing for Neo Motorspor with a Peugeot 207 S2000, took second place overall, while another Turkish crew, Mustafa Çakal-Mehmet Köleoğlu, finished sixth overall in a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX. Çakal-Köleoğlu also managed to carry the points for second place in Class N into the Turkish Rally Championship.
