Bostancı Targets Victory in Serbia

Serbia Rally, part of the 2015 European Rally Trophy, takes place in Serbia on 19-20 September.

Murat Bostancı and Onur Vatansever, who are contesting the trophy this season for Castrol Ford Team Türkiye, will also start the event in Serbia on behalf of Turkey. Aiming to maintain their lead in the trophy, the Bostancı-Vatansever crew want to finish ahead of their closest rival, Rashid Al Ketbi of the United Arab Emirates, to extend their advantage in the standings.

Saying the crew is one step away from the title they are chasing, Murat Bostancı commented: "We have raised the pace at every round of the European Rally Trophy and, so to speak, we have reached the final straight. We have managed to hold on to our lead in every condition and, by executing our team strategy perfectly, we have moved a little closer to bringing a European Rally Trophy to Turkey. Onur, myself and the whole team want to do everything we can, and even more, to give our country this joy."

In recent weeks, Murat Bostancı and Onur Vatansever scored back-to-back victories for Castrol Ford Team Türkiye to take the lead in the trophy standings. If the champion crew win Serbia Rally, part of the European Rally Trophy, they will most likely clinch the European Rally Trophy without needing to contest Rally Croatia, setting a first for Turkish motorsport.
