Organised by Eksi 36 Spor Kulübü on 9-10 March with the support of the Kars Governorate, the Sarıkamış District Governorate and Sarıkamış Municipality, Rally Sarıkamış – Turkey's first rally on snow and ice – ended in victory for the Hakkı Ağaoğlu-Erkan Güleren crew, competing for GP Garage My Team.
Over two days and five special stages, Fatih Kara-Bilge Ayan went off the road, while Halim Ateş-Bahadır Gücenmez and Volkan Işık-Doruk Gökşin were unable to finish the rally because of mechanical problems.
Driving a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX, Uğur Soylu-Kerim Tar finished second overall and won Class 3, while 2018 Turkish Circuit Racing Super Group champion Ersin Yücesan, starting a rally for the first time, left Sarıkamış third overall and second in Class 3 with co-driver Doğukan Topkaya.
Buğra Can Kılıç, who began his motorsport career through the TOSFED Yıldızını Arıyor project, won both the two-wheel-drive and junior classes with Ali Emre Yılmaz as co-driver, while Onat Telkenar-Efe Eryalaz took second in both the two-wheel-drive and junior classes. Alptekin Işıkalp-Hakan Uçucu completed the rally in third place in the two-wheel-drive class, while Demir Berberoğlu-Okan Karaçam secured second in Class 4.
At the prize-giving ceremony held on the finish podium at the Sarıkamış Ski Centre after the rally, the awards to the leading crews were presented by Sarıkamış District Governor Yusuf İzzet Karaman, Sarıkamış Mayor Köksal Toksoy, TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı, TOSFED Vice President Nisa Ersoy and former Eski 36 Club President Tarık Yılmaz.

TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı started the rally in the opening car, a rally car carrying the slogan 'Women in Life and in Racing', designed especially for International Working Women's Day on 8 March. He said: "We wanted to raise awareness for the hard-working women who beautify everything they touch, and to show that we stand beside our women with the slogan on our car on this special day. At TOSFED, through both our social responsibility projects and our events, we want to introduce young people and more women to motorsport. Our greatest wish is to see Turkish women take part in major events such as the World Rally Championship, and to nurture female drivers who will make their names known worldwide."
