Sapanca's Soğucak Awaits Campers

The 3rd SOFFDER Local Off-road Race will be held on 24 July 2016 by Sapanca Offroad Club, with the support of Sapanca Municipality, at the Soğucak Plateau in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Samanlı mountains.

The event, which off-road fans look forward to every year, will begin with a wonderful camping atmosphere in which people can enjoy nature at close quarters. It will conclude on Sunday 24 July with a very enjoyable and colourful off-road race for competitors and spectators alike.

The 2.5 km Soğucak Plateau stage, where the race will be run, consists of 10 gates. The stage, which will be run with two vehicles starting together and will begin at 12.30, will be tackled three times.

Race director Tolga CANVAR, in a statement ahead of the event, said: "As SOFFDER, we would like to thank all the officials and the sports clubs that have given their support from near and far, first and foremost Sapanca Municipality, the event's biggest supporter," adding that they are inviting all nature and off-road enthusiasts to Sapanca this weekend.
