AVC-Osmanlı Takes Victory at Riva

Round 5 of the 2017 Turkish Trial Championship was held on 30 September-1 October at the off-road park in Riva, organised by Beykoz Offroad Club (BEYOFF), with seven teams made up of 28 competitors and 14 vehicles taking part.The two-day event, which produced fiercely competitive action, went ahead in front of a large crowd despite heavy rain. With a Turkish Red Cross blood donation vehicle on site, Beykoz Municipality also handed out ashure and lokma at the event venue.
The event, staged at the Kanlıca Forest Enterprise Afforestation Area, got under way at 11.45 on Saturday 30 September 2017. No team managed to reach the finish on the demanding stage. AVC Team-Osmanlı Offroad, made up of the crews of Adnan Ofluoğlu-Şenol Coşkun and Oğuz Kaan Öztürk-Kürşad Öztürk, finished the first day in first place, while Beyoff Ceyranpower, comprising Cemal Altun-Ali Çapan and Umut Uyar-Yusuf Uyar, took second and King Of Trial Team, with Burak Ayvaz-Cenkkut Fırıncı and İsmail Koçali-Devrim Öztürk, completed the day in third.
The second day began at 10.00 on Sunday 1 October, with the crews battling hard against tough natural conditions and obstacles. At the end of it, victory in Round 5 of the 2017 Turkish Trial Championship, the Beyoff Race, went to AVC Team-Osmanlı Offroad, made up of the crews of Adnan Ofluoğlu-Şenol Coşkun and Oğuz Kaan Öztürk-Kürşad Öztürk. Second place in the gruelling event went to Teleferik Offroad, featuring the crews of Ahmet Kurt-Fuat Sarper and Şencan Özkurt-İsa Üstündağ, while the third step of the podium was taken by Aydoff Trial Team, represented by Ali Fuat Bilgin-Mehmet Emir and Seda Özkutlu-Şahhaydar Argaç.
