Rally Halikarnassos Returns to Bodrum for Second Edition

The raid event Rally Halikarnassos, held for the first time last year, will take place in Bodrum from 19-22 April with the support of TR Extreme and Bodrum Municipality and sponsorship from Mitsubishi Motors, BF Goodrich, KTM, SPX, Çağdaş Global and Kule Rock Bar.

Rally Halikarnassos will begin with a ceremonial start at 16:30 on Thursday 19 April, following scrutineering at Bodrum Municipality Square, and will finish back at Bodrum Municipality Square after a route of around 500km. Setting off from central Bodrum on Friday 20 April, the event will visit Güvercinlik, Mumcular, Uyku Vadisi and Yalı Çiftlik; on Saturday 21 April, it will take a ferry to Datça before running around Gökova; and on Sunday 22 April, it will complete the Yalıçiflik, Mumcular and Güvercinlik stages over a different route before finishing in central Bodrum.Competing on routes designed to suit professional and semi-professional drivers, entrants will be able to take part in either the rally category or the raid category, which is independent of time. The event, in which participants on motorcycles, ATV-SSVs and 4x4 vehicles that meet the technical and safety requirements will race to get through the demanding routes, has a single base camp at Yalı Çiftlik. Over three days it will pass through different parts of the Halikarnassos region, with each day finishing at the same point.
