Rallycross Season Finale Delivers Thrills and Spills

Twelve competitors from Istanbul, Bursa, Ankara, İzmir and Antalya battled across four categories on a 1,500-metre part-tarmac, part-gravel course, with multiple cars starting each heat. The event, made up of three qualifying heats and a final, was spiced up by displays from 2018 Turkish Historic Rally Champion Levent Gür and the Apex Masters drifting drivers.
In Category 1, after a fight between the Fiat Palios, Ankara's Mehmet Akif Yalçın, who only began competing this season, took the win and the season title, with Tolga Tezeken from İzmir second and Ramazan Ekiz from Ankara third.
In Category 2, Istanbul's Halid Avdagiç took the win and the championship in a Control 2, while Antalya's Okan Tanrıverdi claimed second in a Renault Clio Sport for the GP Garage My Team. The category's third driver, Levent Şapçılar from İzmir, was unable to finish the race due to a mechanical failure on his Ford Fiesta ST.
In Category 3, Istanbul's Adil Küçüksarı took the win and the championship in a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX for EVO BT Rally Team, with Yavuzhan Cabbaroğlu second in a Subaru Impreza from Ankara and fellow Ankara Subaru Impreza driver Gürol Baranlı third.
In Category 4, Halim Ateş added another win to his streak in a MINI JCW WRC for EVO BT Rally Team to clinch the season title. İzmir's Bahadır Sevinç took second in an Opel Corsa GSI, while İrfan Tatlıcılar from Bursa finished third in a Fiat Palio Sporting.
