The 11th round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship, one of the most exciting motorsport events in the world, is being held at Intercity Istanbul Park from 2-4 October 2015.

Contested in a knockout format across two categories, Supercar and RX Lites, 21 drivers will battle it out over two days, beginning with the qualifying heats. The RX Lites category, made up entirely of Turkish-built cars, will also take the start as a support race in the FIA World Rallycross Championship with 10 cars. Enriched with international drifting displays, entertainment and children's activity areas, the event is expected to be a different kind of weekend out for the whole family.

At Intercity Istanbul Park, a dedicated track has been built for the FIA World Rallycross Championship, incorporating the start-finish straight of the main circuit, turns 12, 13 and 14, and part of the paddock area. Specially designed so that spectators can watch the whole course in comfort and without interruption, the track is made up of 60% asphalt and 40% gravel. This year's new jump, absent last year, looks set to take the excitement to even greater heights.

To ensure easy access to the circuit, İETT will run regular bus services throughout the day on 3-4 October from the Bakırköy, Bostancı, Kadıköy, Pendik and Taksim districts.

The 2014 World Rallycross Championship round in Istanbul was a source of particular pride: according to the observer reports, Turkey finished second with 66.04%, behind Sweden's 66.23%. In addition, the event's clerk of the course, Banu Başeren, topped the director reports with 48 points...
