Ömer Asaf Retains Championship Lead

Ten-year-old national driver Ömer Asaf Kolot won two of the three races to take the overall victory in round two of the Turkish Karting Championship​, held at the Akyazı Kenan Sofuoğlu Circuit on 1 May.

The young driver, who took a second class win of the season in the Mini category to extend the championship lead, will next compete in the second round of the International BNL Karting Series at the Genk circuit in Belgium on 7-8 May.
