BC Vision Ready for Marmaris

BC Vision Motorsport, which made an important statement at Ege Rallisi, the opening round of the Turkish Rally Championship held on 16-17 April, by placing three crews in the top seven, is ready for Rally Marmaris on 13-15 May.
BC Vision Motorsport, which contested the Aegean Rally, the first round of the Turkish Rally Championship, with four crews supported by Punto Restaurant, Autoclub, Demorhome and İbis Otel, is now preparing to take on a long and demanding European Rally Championship event. In Class 2, Burak Çukurova/Vedat Bostancı will drive an R5 car; in Class 3, Ahmet Burkay/Bilge Ayan will drive an R3T car; in Class 4, Alpaslan Çukurova/Ertuğrul Gündüz will drive an R2 car; and in Class 5, Alptekin Işıkalp/Selin Özgür will drive a Fiat Palio.
Starting with a ceremonial start on Friday 13 May, Rally Marmaris is the first gravel event of the 2016 season and a round of the European Rally Championship. It comprises 11 challenging stages and 400 km in total, 191 km of which are special stages.
Team Director Burak Çukurova, delighted with the team's result at the Aegean Rally, said: "We are very happy with this result at the start of the season. Making its debut at the Aegean Rally, BC Vision Motorsport took the team lead and placed three cars in the top seven from its very first rally, which is a fine achievement. I believe Rally Marmaris has been prepared with a great deal of effort, and frankly, of our four cars, one is four-wheel drive and the others are front-wheel drive. We may look disadvantaged on gravel, but with our smart strategy and experience, I want all of our cars to be on the podium in their classes at the end of the rally. I wish everyone success. I would like to thank our sponsors Punto Restaurant, Autoclub, İbis Otel and Demor Home, and we look forward to seeing our spectators."
