Round six of the 2018 Turkish Off-road Championship, organised by Kardoff Offroad Club, takes place in Karabük on 27-28 October... The two-day event will be run on a dedicated course set up in the area behind Karabük University.
The first day of the event begins at 12:00 on Saturday 27 October, with the action ending on Sunday 28 October. Off-road enthusiasts from all over Turkey will take part. Speaking about the event, KARDOFF Club President Ahmet Demir said: "As in every year, we are busy with preparations for the Turkish Off-road Championship. This year our event, to be held on 27-28 October 2018, will be run by the Karabük Offroad Club KARDOFF in the area behind Karabük University. Spectator viewing areas have been created at four different points on the endurance stage on the first day. On the second day, the stage will be run with two cars starting together, which will take the excitement to its peak. With the points in the championship very close together, the competition will intensify and the spectacle will come to the fore. We wish success to Mehmet Vurulmuş, who is competing for our club and for Karabük. We hope he will take his place on the podium at the end of the event." He also thanked all the public institutions and private organisations that support the events.
Mehmet Vurulmuş, who will represent Karabük in the event, said that motivation rises when there are spectators and that he is expecting the people of Karabük to come out and watch: "We are back in the races this year, as before, to represent our club in the 2018 Turkish Off-road Championship. We are in very good shape at the moment and have nothing lacking. We will represent our Karabük once again and we invite all our people to our races. Please don't withhold your support from us. Our motivation grows when there are spectators, and seeing them makes us happy. I thank them all in advance."
