Baja Apolyont Brings Off-Road Action to Nilüfer

Baja Apolyont, the second round of the 2018 Marmara Baja Cup organised in Bursa by Bursa Alternatif Sporlar Kulübü (BASK), was held in Fadıllı, Nilüfer, on 1-2 December with 17 vehicles and 34 competitors taking part. In the event, run with the support of Nilüfer Belediyesi, the crews tackled the 67.22km Otomak-Ranger stage on the first day, while on the second day they competed on the 67.07km Nilüfer Belediyesi stage in Fadıllı and the 7.20km Zafer Vatansever spectator stage.Kenan Özsoy-Harun Deynek won the event in a Nissan Navara, with Kenan Çarpışantürk-Harun Çarpışantürk second in a Nissan X-Terra and Deniz Dağlı-Sibel Dağlı third in a Suzuki Vitara...

At the prize-giving ceremony held after the event, SSV class winners Ali Doğaner-Erkan Tekin, who competed in a Can-Am Maverick X3, TH1 class winners the Dağlı pair and TH2 class winners Özsoy-Deynek received their trophies from Nilüfer Mayor Mustafa Bozbey.
