AVC Osmanlı Take Victory in Nilüfer

Round three of the 2018 Turkish Trial Championship was held in Bursa on 11-12 August. The event, organised by the Bursa Alternative Sports Club (BASK] with the support of Nilüfer Municipality at the Nilüfer Municipality Fadıllı Aviation Facilities, was given its ceremonial start in Gölyazı by Nilüfer Mayor Mustafa Bozbey.
At the ceremony, which also featured ATV demonstrations, Bozbey wished all competitors success. "Gölyazı has witnessed 2,600 years of history and today it is hosting round three of the 2018 Turkish Trial Championship. In Nilüfer, the city of sport, we support almost every branch of sport. We both host and support sports that are close to nature and outdoor sports in particular. This region is especially well suited to outdoor sports, and by inviting our competitors here we give them the chance to compete. I wish Clerk of the Course Ertan Uçar and our competitors every success and an accident-free event," he said.
After the ceremonial opening, the event moved to the Nilüfer Municipality Aviation Facilities in the Fadıllı district. Seven teams, 14 vehicles and 28 competitors took part, providing colourful scenes. The crews, racing against the clock in demanding natural conditions, took the spectators' breath away. Competitors tackled the sections one by one in their extreme off-road vehicles, trying to set the best result.
Alongside the two days of competition at the Fadıllı Aviation Facilities, an Outdoor Sports Festival was also held. The festival featured camping, cycling and ATVs, plus a paintball tournament for plenty of fun, and on its first evening Grup Traffic took to the stage and gave participants unforgettable moments with their songs.
