Memi-Pertev Head for the Championship
The first day of the final round of the 2016 Turkish Off-road Championship, organised by Istanbul Park Sports Club (İPSK) with Mirsan as sponsor and 28 vehicles and 56 competitors taking part, is now complete.
The opening day, made up of three passes through the forest stage, ended with championship leader Hüseyin Memi-Ali Pertev in front after the pair set the fastest time on every stage. Kenan Özsoy-Sebahattin Çağlayan finished the day second in a Jeep Wrangler, while the Arif-Harun Çarpışantürk crew entered parc fermé third in a Mitsubishi Pajero...

Tomorrow (Sunday 23 October) the action starts at 12:00, with the crews contesting three laps of the spectator stage on the off-road course at the Intercity Istanbul Park Circuit. The event finishes at 15:20, and the prize-giving ceremony will be held at 17:30 at Mirsan inside the Istanbul Park Circuit.
