Besler Takes Podium at RMC Grand Final

Turkish karting driver Berkay Besler, who has consistently delivered strong results on the international stage this season, has added another success to his record. Berkay finished third in the senior category at the 2016 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final in Sarno, Italy, claiming one of the most significant achievements of his career.
The week-long competition in Sarno hosted 360 drivers from 60 countries across the European, Asian, American, Australian and African continents in six different categories. In the 20-lap final, Besler set the fastest lap with a 1:01.906 on lap 17, and finished third in the senior category, where he faced 71 rivals, to secure a place on the podium. Despite dropping back to 12th place during the race, Besler picked off his rivals one by one over the 20 laps and came into the final lap in fifth. In the closing corners, contact between the leading drivers in their battle led to mistakes, and Besler passed two of them at once to take the chequered flag in third.
Mehmet Yaman, another driver representing Turkey, competed successfully against 71 rivals in the DD2 Masters category up to the semi-finals before being eliminated in the finals, gaining valuable experience.
We congratulate our drivers and wish them continued success...
