Marmaris Falls for Off-road Racing

The fourth round of the Turkish Off-road Championship, organised by Vezirköprü Off-road Club (VEZİROFF) as part of Marmaris Auto Sport Fest, also delivered colourful and thrilling competition. On the first day of the event, which attracted 41 crews, competitors took on the Spor Toto section. On the second day they tackled the Aygaz Otogaz section, negotiating natural and artificial obstacles and providing plenty of excitement for the large crowd of motorsport fans.

The overall win went to Ekrem Aydın-Muharrem Ekebil in a Mitsubishi Pajero, with Cemal Akagündüz-Cemil Akagündüz second in an Opel Frontera and Hüsnü Taylan-Hasan Taylan third in a Jeep Cherokee. In the classes, determined by engine capacity, Deniz Dağlı-Sibel Dağlı won Class 1, İrfan Özdemir-Engin Başkurt took Class 2, Ekrem Aydın-Muharrem Ekebil won Class 3, and Murat Taşlıdağ-Hüseyin Kurt won Class 4...

The postponed third round of the Turkish Off-road Championship will take place in Ankara on 28-29 May 2016.
