Kenan Özsoy and Ozan Yağcı Win Tough Off-road Round in the Kunduz Forests

The second race of the 2015 Turkish Off-road Championship ended in victory for the Jeep Wrangler crew of Kenan Özsoy-Ozan Yağcı from Denizli. Organised by Vezirköprü Off-road Club on 2-3 May in the Kunduz forests of Vezirköprü, Samsun, with support from Aygaz OtoGaz and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the event also drew great interest from spectators. Over two days, 20 vehicles and 40 competitors tackled seven stages: on the first day the 8.3-kilometre forest stage was run three times, while on the second day the 8.4-kilometre obstacle stage was run four times.

After a tough contest, Ahmet Ünlü-Ayhan Yıldırım took second place in the overall classification in a Nissan Terrano, with İrfan Özdemir-Yusuf Öztürk third in a Suzuki Vitara. The class wins were shared by Edip Yaşar Kurtoğlu- Murat Timuçin Doğan from Trakya Off-road Club in Class 1, İrfan Özdemir-Yusuf Öztürk from Zonguldak in Class 2, Ahmet Ünlü-Ayhan Yıldırım from 54 Motorsport Club in Class 3 and Kenan Özsoy-Ozan Yağcı in Class 4.

Round three of the Turkish Off-road Championship will be held in Sinop on 30-31 May, organised by Sinop Off-road Club (SİNOFF).
