Autocross and Hill Climb Come Together at Kaynaşlı

Eskişehir Automobile Sports Club (ESOK) is preparing to close its season with a double-header event in Kaynaşlı, Düzce, on 3-4 November. Organised with the support of Düzce Governorship, Düzce Municipality, Kaynaşlı District Governorship and Kaynaşlı Municipality, the autocross and hill climb events are expected to draw a large crowd of spectators.
The autocross races will take place from 10.00 on Saturday 3 November at the Kaynaşlı Motorsport Centre, next to the Bolu-Ankara motorway. Following the events in Bursa and Izmir, they will determine the drivers from the remaining provinces who will contest the Turkish Rallycross Championship final. Under the regulations, drivers wishing to take part in the final must have competed in at least three local autocross events during 2018 and finished in the top five in their class. The Kaynaşlı Autocross Races will be run as three separate races over a 1,450-metre course in three different classes, with cars starting singly. The first race will begin at 13:00, the second at 14:30 and the third at 16:00.
The Kaynaşlı Hill Climb on Sunday 4 November begins with administrative and technical checks from 07:30 to 09:00, followed by two practice runs between 10:00 and 12:30. The event will be run over three runs on a 6 km course between Kaynaşlı Dipsizgöl Village and Topuk Yaylası, with the first run at 13:30, the second at 15:00 and the third at 16:30. Now in its third year in Kaynaşlı, the event will once again be hosted by the Fenerbahçe Topuk Yaylası Facilities, as in previous years.
